En-Chro Plating's Tanks are Ideal
En-Chro Plating's tanks are ideal for new hard chrome plating and repair hard chrome plating of long, cylindrical components like hydraulic rods and industrial rollers. Our tanks can accommodate parts up to 39 feet long with a diameter between 3 and 8 inches. We can also plate various diameters up to 30 feet long.
The dimensions of our tanks allow for optimal anode placement, which is crucial for achieving a uniform current distribution across the entire part. This ensures a consistent chrome plating thickness, which can range from .001" to .010" or more. The resulting chrome layer has a hardness of 68-72 RC on the Rockwell scale.
Horizontal Electroplating Tank Benefits
Our horizontal electroplating tank removes the need for plating components in sections which can create inconsistencies and quality issues in a final product. Our horizontal electroplating tank can accommodate more parts and components for a higher production capacity. By chrome plating long parts in a single pass can reduce potential imperfections, damages and labor costs.
